Khun Suthas hosts dinner for Graeme Cox, President of Dole Thailand at Seafood Bar the new offshoot of Oyster Bar. The maitre D is "Bird ", who used to be at Sorrento and immediately recognized all of us to give good service.
The oysters ,the Maine lobster and the Alaska snow crab were all very good.

Our pregnant horse ; "Brown Sugar", with the new harness which Khun Puert went to buy in Nakorn Rachasima together with a fancy saddle and brush and scratcher. Brown Sugar should be 6 months pregnant and should give birth in 5 months. This is her third pregnancy.

Khun Chookiat gives me the Chronicles of Thailand by The Bangkok Post, which summarizes the news from 1946 to 2009 as a New Year's present.

Mr. Nose comes from Japan to give me New Year's greetings at the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation. Mr. Nose is in Bangkok with his family for the New Year's.

TISCO Annual New Year's Jok Breakfast

Khun Pliu leads a contingent of TISCO management for the traditional New Year's jok breakfast at my house. I guess this tradition has been going on for over 20 years.
