"Ayus"- our new arrival at Sublanka Wildlife Sanctuary. This Asiatic black bear or "Mee Kwai" has had a long 13 hour trip from Nan province in an airconditioned van listening to CDs. He decides to immediately climb a tree and doze off.

Sivaporn buys some bear food. He figure that if this is good enough for Panda bears it must also be good for Asiatic black bears too.

Today went to Sublanka to welcome our new baby "Mee Kwai" or Asiatic black bear. On the way in at Kilometer 9, Pang Duern appears out of no where and grabs some bananas we brought in for the bear from the pickup. Dr. Benjamas says "No ! no! its not for you!" but she doesn't listen.

After lunch at "Krua Saa Ros Jaat", Rochana gets a flower bouquet from Tuey and Ord.
