Bridge to Our House

After a 100 years of wooden bridge over Klong Somdej Chao Phya, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has a budget of Baht 1.4 Million to build a concrete bridge in its place. Before one could navigate by boat from in front of the house on the Klong Somdej Chao Phya to the Chao Phya River. Fish and shrimps were plentyful. Now there is only garbage and a lot of "Tua Ngern- Tua Thong" or big lizardlike reptile. Have to move many cars out of the house for two months during construction of the bridge.
