Life Extension Lamp

It is an ancient Thai custom to present a gravely ill person with a "Takieng Tor Chivith" or Life Extension Lamp. The person is to take good care of the lamp. It is not necessary that the lamp be lit all the time, but it is good if it is lit from time to time by such person.
